When I finish a big project, my brain decides to shut down. It’s like a body after a marathon. “Yeah, did you SEE WHAT I DID YESTERDAY? Now leave me the fuck alone for a week.”
However, I had to let a lot of things slide when I took April off to finish Ghost Train to New Orleans. Podcasting. Preliminary Torment work. Marketing for Shambling Guide to NYC. So I have to jump right into those responsibilities, not to mention that I have to continue writing, else I break my streak on the magic spreadsheet. (Yesterday was day 151.)
But the brain. It just wants to rest.
